Tell us: Housing proposed for land in our area – is it what you want?

You might be aware that public consultations have taken place showing proposals for houses to be built on the land beside Masterton Primary School, on the corner of Aberdour Road and Lapwing Drive (called Dover Heights in the planning documents). You can find more info here.

We are now waiting on the final proposal to be shared publicly and when it is we are then able to comment on the proposal. When it is shared the community council will raise awareness in the local community to encourage responses.

At the moment we are interested in hearing what the local community think about this land. You may have already provided your opinion to the developer but this is the first time the community council have asked for your opinion so please let us know your thoughts even if it feels like you are saying the same things.  

We think our area is under resourced for community assets and would love to know if you think there are better ways this land could be used that would benefit the community.
