Family Fun Day

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who supported our Fun Day on Saturday 15 August. What a fantastic turnout! There was a bumper amount of inflatables to be bounced on and slide down as well as a gladiator bungee run, a giant football dart board, chair-o-planes and a small round-about. The climbing wall proved very popular and had a never ending queue. The stall holders were kept busy and there was a good variety of crafts for sale. The tombola table was filled with goodies. The cake stall sold out, Flame Fresh Pizza, Chef Roman and the Scouts, were kept very busy. We gave out over 340 goody bags donated by TechnipFMC and Baxter Storey, if you didn’t get one apologies, you had to be quick!

There were many decorated faces, tattoos and hair braids to be seen. Radio West Fife kept everyone entertained with a great selection of summer tunes. Centre Stage Performing Arts gave a magnificent display of dance, thank you so much. The Community Police proved very popular with their police car and sirens and flashing lights, it’s great to see Vinnie and Sarah being able to spend time in their community area.

Wristbands sold like hotcakes as did the raffle tickets (see our Facebook page and Events page on our website for all the winners). We are very grateful to everyone who donated and who bought raffle tickets, we hope all the winners enjoy their prizes.

The Young at Heart Club would also like to say a huge thank you to neighbours and friends for all their kind donations towards the Tombola. We received more than 80 gifts!
