Mental Health Warriors

Brand new charity (SC055170) aimed at helping young people, Mental Health Warriors (MHW) is a growing Scottish organisation dedicated to supporting young people aged 5 – 17 with their mental health and wellbeing. It is all about breaking the stigma around mental health and additional needs showing young people that support can be empowering, positive, and even fun. Built on community, creativity, and connection, Mental Health Warriors is creating spaces where under 18’s feel safe, included, and free to be themselves.

Through groups and clubs such as our Saturday Youth Club and school holiday clubs, we have been able to support over 30 families in our short time of running.

Established in 2024, one of MHW’S most exciting developments is our flagship expansion project in Dunfermline. This initiative aims to bring vital youth mental health services into the local community, creating a space where young people can be supported and have fun.

The project reflects a wider ambition to expand not just across Fife, but across Scotland. This isn’t about providing services – it’s about building a community. As mental health challenges among young people continue to rise, initiatives like this are essential in shaping a healthier, more connected future. As well as our flagship raves we will also be looking to set up youth groups and school holiday clubs in Dunfermline and the wider community.

We are always looking for more volunteers to help us run sessions and events, we can offer training in first aid, counselling, working with young people and more. Please visit our website www.mhwa.scot for more details or email us: enquiries@mhwa.scot
